Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you use Orjin on any of our websites or apps, or buy an Orjin subscription.
1. Who we are
Orjin is provided by VİSTA WAY TEKNOLOJİ LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“Vista Way”, “we”), Barbaros Mah. Lale Sk. Ağaoğlu My Office No: 2, İç Kapı No: 13, 34758 Ataşehir, İstanbul, Türkiye. Contact: support@orjin.co.
2. The service
Orjin is a subscription app, on the web now and on iOS and Android later. It offers daily AI news you can read or listen to in a few minutes, and a Library of short documentary-style titles, each in three key ideas, to read or listen to. Features may change as we improve the service.
3. AI-made content
Every piece is written and narrated by AI from the public sources listed under it, and checked by an editor before it is published. It can still contain mistakes or miss context. Orjin is information and commentary, not financial, legal, medical or other professional advice. Check the sources before you rely on anything.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Plans. Orjin Premium Monthly costs $15.99 per month. Orjin Premium Yearly costs $99.99 per year and starts with a 7-day free trial. Prices are in USD and include tax. Current prices are always shown on the Pricing page and at checkout.
- Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Free trial. If you cancel before the 7-day trial ends, you are not charged. Otherwise the yearly price is charged when the trial ends.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. We will tell you in advance about any price change, and you can cancel before it applies.
- Cancellation. You can cancel any time from the link in your Paddle receipt email or by writing to support@orjin.co. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Offers. Personal offers may lower the first payment only. The amount you pay is always the amount shown at checkout before you confirm.
5. Refunds
Any website charge can be refunded in full, for any reason, within 14 days of that charge. Details are in the Refund Policy. This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
6. Your account and access
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. A subscription is for your personal use. During early access we may give access with a PIN; access PINs are personal and must not be shared.
7. Acceptable use
Don't copy, resell, republish or redistribute Orjin's texts or audio in bulk; don't scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or try to break the service; don't use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
8. Intellectual property
Orjin's pieces are original works written for Orjin; the texts, audio, covers, design and software belong to Vista Way or its licensors. The news sources each piece draws on are linked under it and remain the property of their owners. You may share links to Orjin pieces and quote short passages with attribution.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to publish every day but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
10. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Vista Way is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made by relying on content, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul are competent, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
